Headed to Rapid City (no pun intended)

So this next week's posts may be non existent :) We are headed to Rapid City for the Dakota District's Winter Retreat! It will be a fun time with family and friends and we are looking forward to it. Hope you all have a great week and weekend...until then, what post would be complete without pictures :)

Big Brother is quite the little ham, and also quite the little handful. He always seems to be trying something new...this one was pretty funny...

He literally had just gotten out of the bathtub and had his clean pj's on. I had the water running for Little Sister's bath...He obviously thought he wasn't clean enough yet.

A Little Bit of Sister, A Little Bit of Wranglers

I can not believe how much Little Sister has grown in the past few months! Today was the day that I had to box 0-3 month clothes and bring out the next size. As sad as it was to see some outfits be put away, it's like shopping when you get to bring out the new ones :) In the process, I came across a few things and decided to do a mini photo shoot.

These little Wranglers I bought for my best friend Lisa's daughter Mackenzie when she was an infant (now she is 5 years old, wow how time flies).

Isn't she the cutest!

Vintage Motif

So I've been working on several little projects around the house, all yet to be completed. One of them is "redecorating" the master bedroom. I'm going for a Modern Vintage theme and I'm currently working on a frame wall. There are several websites and blogs where I have received inspiration, but my favorite is Ashley Ann Photography. I know her from living in Oklahoma and watching her kiddos at church. Check out her blog, it's AWESOME!

One of my inspirations came from her tutorial for a Monogrammed Canvas Tote bag, you can access the tutorial from here. I made something for my wall instead...

The Wheels on the Bus...

Wow, I didn't mean for it to be so long since I made a post! Having Hubby home seems to throw off my schedule just a little bit, but very worth it :) (Because of that several days might have more then one post to catch up on what's been happening here)

At the end of January we took a trip up to Montana to see Grandpa and Grammie. Big Brother has a fascination with school buses and has recently learned the song with all the movements to "The Wheels on the Bus." You can imagine his excitement to learn that his very own Grandpa drives a school bus!

No different then the normal bus passengers, Big Brother liked the back seat!

But driving was even better!
