Wow Wow Wow is all I have to say about this project. Wow for the amount of work it took to get it done, wow for the many problems we had along the way, and wow for the amazing mirror that we created! I am very happy with the turnout, so the work and stress was worth it.
As you know, I was waiting for the new mirror to come in the mail, well wouldn't you know it, it took nearly 2 weeks to get here and then it was cracked when I opened it. Frustrated, I decided I just couldn't wait any longer and was able to find a smaller mirror at Kmart that I hoped would work. We ended up having to take an 1/8" piece of project pine and cutting a circle out of it because the new smaller mirror just wouldn't cover the nails like I had previously thought...again, if you followed this process along, I'm sorry for the screw ups :)
But, without further adieu...the Sunburst Mirror!
If you dare to create one for yourself, you can find the links to them Here, Here, or Here . My husband and I are considering making them and selling them, but we are in need of break for just a bit :)
A preview of what else I've been up too...Little Sister is turning one next Friday! I can not believe it, seriously, wasn't she just born yesterday? I've been working on editing a few pictures to mark her turning 1 and here are a few sneak peaks...
And one more shot at my new favorite project :)
